Could very well be. The Demons in charge of our gubmint are OBSESSED with Covid and the vaccine thing.
My understanding, to this point in time, is that those taking the mark will know it. They will know the choice they made - God or the beast.
However, a required vax ‘passport’ surely does seem to meet the buying-selling, etc. description of the mark.

Do not participate. The corporations cannot survive the withdrawal of even 40% of their customer base.
Take your savings while fiat still has value, live on your preps and stay home. Make your employer fire you and you can qualify for stimmy/unemployment checks. Home school the kids in conjunction with other resistors. Barter among yourselves. Forego travel and eating out. Stash the savings from no commute and no discretionary spending and invest in survival equipment. Learn “robust post-apocalyptic skill sets”. (h/t Diana in Wisconsin).
