The government actually outright lied about that “pipe bomb” and they did it in a sanctionable manner.

In their motion, the government tried to paint the object that was found as a bomb. They left out that it was found in a box labeled “Alerrt kit, props.” Alerrt is an acronym for a national law enforcement training program where officers are instructed in how to respond to active shooters. The officer here is an Alerrt instructor and had the “bomb” as a prop.

The FIB actually left it behind when they did their search warrant.

Then the two U.S. Attorneys who filed the motion to revoke the bond lied about what the item actually was.

The government also neglected to mention that the “loaded M4” belonged to the officer’s son and the officer wasn’t home at the time and never had possession of it.

The two U.S. attorneys would be sanctioned and brought up on ethics complaints in a still functioning system.

It was as blatant an attempt to mislead the court as I’ve ever seen.
