I am very aware of outdoor revival meetings, but they probably constitute about one one-thousandth of religious services - if that - even in the South. And those events are very dependent upon the weather, and would be impractical for much of the year in many climates. And I’m not sure why holding a service in a tent magically makes it more religious or more authentic.
Who said anything about more religious or more authentic???
The point is that God doesn’t care if we are in a building or not, He cares that we do not break fellowship with our brothers and sisters in Christ.
The Russian Christians held services in the depths of the forests, so that the KGB couldn’t find them. Others have held services in caves, on ships, under bough and on hilltops. The building is not important and Canadians burning of the buildings will not stop one Real Christian from the “gathering together” for worship.
