"Ricardo Rodriguez, who is not related to Gabriel Rodriguez, claimed during his court appearance that he formerly worked for the federal government, although it was not immediately clear in what capacity. He appeared to react with disbelief when prosecutor Michelle Williams described him as the apparent “leader of this entire incident” and “a serious danger to the community.”
Screwed up the headline a bit. oops.
Wait! He had a pistol and a rifle? WTH? I wouldn’t leave those out in the car either. And for this he’s some kind of “terrorist”? This is nuts.
So it was innocent, but the cops can’t be left with egg on their faces.
“My client merely FOUND the drugs, and was on his way to the police to turn them in when he was arrested!”
I think I heard that he had AMMO, too. Probably evidence of some type of racist hate crime.... (/s)
In the room was found 16 rifles, pistols, and drugs. Weekend at bidens.
And of course what lawyer tells their client to give an interview on TV, unless a deal has been made.
How many were FBI agents?
If memory serves, they were arrested for being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm.
What happened to the drugs?
One FBI Agent plus a group of civilian Confidential Informants working for another Federal Agency, or even another district of the FBI. All writing reports on each other. Just a guess.

LOL! And my dog was on the way to explain to my teacher why he found my homework all chewed up.
A “roomful” of guns is...whatever. I’d be suspicious if he had ammunition for them. I mean, who could afford it on their own?

It was an Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms convention.
All the conspiracy theorist are ignoring that these are people with criminal records and current open warrants. And hunting season is a long way off.
I’ve been to shoots where we had a heck of a lot more hardware and ammo than that.
This sounds to me like some guys that were dealing weapons.
Sixteen guns is a lot to bring to a hotel in Denver.
Elk season does not start until August/September.
More likely these guys were buying and selling guns without a license.
The police recieved a report of a bunch of guns in a hotel room so they just arrested everybody them start making shit up. Sorry but I did not believe a word of this from the first minute. Now they will go directly into manufacture a crime and charges mode. There was a bunch of guns! Surely there was a crime happening.
