I took my daughter to one of the first concerts Madonna ever gave in Seattle 40? Years ago at the Egyptian theater. We were 5 rows from the front. Sean Penn and Madonna had just gotten married and he was on the stage behind the curtain, every once in a while stepping into view. It was weird. He kind of distracted the screaming young girls and at times Madonna looked like a deer caught in the headlights. Maybe I was looking too far into the situation but he looked haughty and angry to me. Very strange. I just mention this because even then there was something overy odd About that relationship even while being praised in adulation by their fans.
