Ivermectin is not an anti-malarial drug. It’s an anti parasitic drug. They lost me in the first sentence.

Yes, not standard treatment as Hydroxychloroquine for Malaria. BUT....

[EXCERPT]

Ivermectin is a potential new vector control tool to reduce malaria transmission.

The study concludes with this:

Our modelling predictions suggest that Ivermectin could be a valuable addition to the malaria control toolbox, both in areas with persistently high transmission where existing interventions are insufficient and in areas approaching elimination to prevent resurgence.

Ivermectin is not an anti-malarial drug. It’s an anti parasitic drug.

Ivermectin is indeed used against malaria. And malaria is classified as a parasite.

You need to read about the science of how ivermectin kills parasites by entering the cells and disrupting the cellular biochemistry process that enables the organism to live and replicate….and how it does the same against covid virus cells…and perhaps now against cells that are producing spike proteins

Dr Been on youtube has been broadcasting medical lectures on this and other covid topics since early 2020

Its main use is for parasites, but there is evidence for its effectiveness against malaria, and it’s being promoted for that, as well:
