Biologist to Tucker Carlson: If Ivermectin proven effective against COVID, it moots vaccine push
Fox News ^ | 07/12/2021 | Charles Creitz

Posted on 07/12/2021 8:07:09 AM PDT by SeekAndFind

An evolutionary biologist claimed Friday that, should the anti-malarial drug Ivermectin be proven effective against the coronavirus, it would moot the usage of and potentially the ability to administer the U.S. coronavirus vaccines currently active under the Food & Drug Administration's Emergency Use Authorization.

Bret Weinstein – who previously made headlines after being pressured out of his biology professorship at Evergreen State College in Washington State for criticizing an anti-White "day-of-absence" – told Fox Nation's "Tucker Carlson Today" that he has been analyzing the vaccines, and has summarily been censored for raising concerns about the shots and the medical establishment's opposition to alternative treatments.

"[I]f Ivermectin is what those of us who have looked at the evidence think it is … then the debate about the vaccines would be over by definition, because the vaccines that we have so far were granted emergency use authorization," Weinstein said, noting that the coronavirus vaccines are not formally "approved" treatments by the FDA and instead administered under the rarely-delineated category of EUA.

According to the FDA's own definition, an EUA is "is a mechanism to facilitate the availability and use of medical countermeasures, including vaccines, during public health emergencies, such as the current COVID-19 pandemic."

"Under an EUA, FDA may allow the use of unapproved medical products, or unapproved uses of approved medical products in an emergency to diagnose, treat, or prevent serious or life-threatening diseases or conditions when certain statutory criteria have been met, including that there are no adequate, approved, and available alternatives," the agency said.

That last clause, Weinstein told host Tucker Carlson, is key to why it is important that Ivermectin and other established pharmaceuticals are thoroughly investigated as alternative treatments.

If you wanted to be balanced, you would have included the negative comments as well.

Read my post again, I posted BASIC INFORMATION about the man, not other info which the Wiki article included.

And let me repeat, I’m not going to copy and paste huge portions of the Wiki page when the link is provided. Anybody, including you can go to it and read the rest for themselves.

Ivermectin is BOTH a prophylactic and a treatment. What he is saying is if the prophylactic properties of Ivermectin were proven to be effective like vaccines, even if not as high, the clamor for vaccines would not be as urgent.

No zinc.

Didier Raoult, who I know personally, did not use zinc in Marseilles and I was just following his protocol.

Side note: a symptom of zinc depletion/deficiency can be loss of taste/smell.

Anecdotals:
Co-worker engineer from Burma had a 56 y/o friend ask him what to do for Covid(she had all symptoms with cough, fever, loss of taste/smell, aches). He relayed FLCC’s protocol to her. She got $3 worth of ivermectin there and is almost recovered 3 days later.

I have another anecdotal in Houston(close relative, mid-20’s) RX’ed ivermectin last Thursday by a doctor there the media loves to hate on. I’ll follow up report later.

RE: Oxford Univ finally started a ‘full on’ large study of ivermectin.

Most successful uses of Ivermectin tell us that it has to be administered EARLY in the disease cycle, within 5 days of positive diagnosis or onset of symptoms, not after it becomes severe enough so that you have to be hospitalized. Ivermectin works to stop viral replication

If this Oxford study is done on severe patients, the results will be mixed to unfavorable.

I see that.

I thought that he did, but it was Dr Zelenko that thinks zinc is the key.

Anecdotally, my BIL's older brother, contracted it over a year ago.

The doctors suggested the normal protocol.

"Go home and go to the ER if you can't breathe."

Through a cooperating doctor and family supplies, he started on HCQ, azithromycin, zinc, Vitamins D, C & B complexes and melatonin.

He was very ill and didn't start treatment for a week.

After one week of treatment he was much better.

After 3 weeks, good to go.

So what he’s saying is that because we have a medication that will help you recover from COVID then there is no reason to try and prevent you from getting it in the first place?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The FDA has two key requirements for an Emergency Use Authorization.
1. It has to be an emergency. By killing the elderly and denying treatment to the sick, and using an invalid PCR test to falsely exaggerate death stats, those driving the ‘plandemic’ created the appearance of an emergency.
2. No other treatments can be available.
If they admitted Ivermectin etc. worked, they don’t have the grounds for an EAU.
The FDA should have granted that EUA to FDA approved drugs Ivermectin, HCQ, AZ etc. and there would have been no problem. Even now they deny there are treatments available in order to hold the ‘vaccine’s’ EUA in place. Sick.
Yes I’m well aware of how Ivermectin works. I’ve been taking it prophylactically for nearly a year now. I just thought it was odd that the author called it an anti-malarial drug (yes, yes, perhaps it may be) when its main and most famous use is as an anti-parasitic drug. Dr. Pierre Kory’s Senate testimony is excellent.
