There are a whole bunch of people in places like Niagara Falls, Ontario that make their living because of US and other international tourists coming to their town.

Quebec City is typically mobbed with US tourists in the summer. Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick and the other eastern provinces make most of their tourist dollars in the summer off of US citizens.
