That competition is mind-numbing lol. Hats off to all those kids, especially the ones who misspell words they figure they should’ve won. At the national level, all the kids have already won a regional. So to get there, you’ve already gone two days of competition without misspelling any words. The winner has an unblemished record, perfect spelling over several days of competitive spelling, so of course big congrats there!
