I watched my father go through it twenty two years ago. The decline only took about five years, in the end he didn’t recognize me and I was his only son.
Biden is heading to the same place. It happens quickly sometimes.

I helped take care of my stepfather until he passed. His dementia came on rapidly following heart surgery. We ended up having to put him in a memory ward at the rest home. He was a wonderful person and I miss him dearly.

My mom had a heart infection last year & hasn’t been the same since
She thinks my dad is her dad, seeing people that have passed..said they visit her
She’s also lost a lot of weight, muscle tone..trouble walking
She’s in good spirits though but heartbreaking to watch
Her doctor has done 2 MRIs, said she doesn’t see anything/looks normal
