ALBANY — The parent company of St. Peter’s Health Partners, one of the Capital Region’s largest employers and one of two dominant health care providers in the region, has mandated that all of its employees get a COVID-19 vaccination.
The news came down Thursday from Michigan-based Trinity Health, the national not-for-profit Catholic health care system that operates St. Peter’s.“At this point the colleagues within our system who are refusing to get the COVID-19 vaccination and don’t receive an approved exception, whether it’s for strongly held religious beliefs or medical condition, those colleagues will no longer be employed by our organization," said Webster.

And yet, even the informed consent document says that the shot does NOT prevent you from contracting or spreading the virus.
WHY are they doing this???

If anyone would know any better it should be them!
Slowly working their way around the country so that if anyone wants to remain employed, they’ll have to be vaccinated for COVID. There are going to be only so many open positions at other similar jobs not having this requirement (for now). People trying to pay their mortgage/rent and keep food on the table are going to be stuck (no pun intended).
I believe they do this with the Flu shots, this is quite the slippery slope.
You can't fight city hall individually. They will crush you, your savings, your income. This is what SCOTUS should be protecting America from.
SCOTUS is just a well paid whore of the Corporatists.
This is no different than requiring that you pass a drug test and agree to random or periodic testing to accept employment there.
No need to be sorry, they clearly have the right to do this. Imagine how safe we would be if all private companies fired people who refused to get the shot. /s

No. The drug testing is to detect illegal drugs that might impair the decisions of the user while they're treating patients. Forcing employees to enroll in a drug experiment is illegal and TAKING THE SHOT DOESN'T PREVENT THE RECIPIENT FROM GETTING THE VIRUS ANYWAY. It gives them "lessened symptoms".
The CEO of St. Peter's Health Partners (Trinity Health) needs to be removed from their position (and any position) in a corporation operating in the United States. St. Peter's Health Partners / Trinity Health needs to be sanctioned and dissolved if necessary. At a minimum they cannot be allowed to continue to operate. Their behavior is no different than the korporations who committed atrocities in Nazi Germany. Forcing experimental treatment on individuals was specifically addressed in the permissible experiments section of the Nuremberg Code in 1947.

I wonder if there is any correlation between people who regularly get the annual flu shots, and those who have had adverse reactions to the Covid-19 shots?
