I've lived in Cobb County for forty years. I've never killed anybody either. Lethal injection is fine as far as I'm concerned. I could get called for jury duty. I hadn't thought of that. We have a nice courthouse right on the Marietta square.

This is the DailyMail. The British, who invented the English language, say “shot dead” in their headlines to distinguish a lethal shooting from a survivable gun injury. U.S. headlines might just say “murdered” or “killed”, and then you have to read the article to find out how. Brits sneer at our 2A because they’re not allowed to carry, so their headlines like to point up a gun murder from any other kind.
There’s probably a clearer way for them to have written the headline. However, being the DailyMail, they never edit well, if at all, since they rush everything online.
