Israel had a good thing going when Trump was in the White House. I hope they appreciated him, and I’m sure that most of the rank-and-file citizenry did (i.e., I remember seeing a poll indicate that Israelis favored Trump over Biden 70-13). Nonetheless, it annoyed me a bit that Bibi was among the first out of the gate to start kissing Dementia Joe’s ass when the MSM started calling the election.
Dementia Joe requires lots of ass kissing. Bibi was just sacrificing his manhood and pride for the sake of the country. He shouldn’t have. Really. He shouldn’t have. He’s on joe’s little list no matter how much ass kissing he does.
“Nonetheless, it annoyed me a bit that Bibi was among the first out of the gate to start kissing Dementia Joe’s ass when the MSM started calling the election.”
Understandable on your part, but Bibi, of course, is no idiot. He needs the US badly for intelligence and technology, and it was no secret that he (and his country) loved Trump. So, not much choice for him...he had to play it safe.
“ President Joe Biden is the first American leader in 40 years not to contact Israel’s leaders as one of his first actions in the White House, setting up what could be four years of chilly relations between America and its top Middle East ally.”
In his first three weeks in office, President Joe Biden has made a flurry of phone calls to American allies around the world, including the leaders of Canada, Britain, France and Japan.
But one close American ally’s leader has so far been left conspicuously off the new president’s call list: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
While Biden has yet to speak to the leader of the U.S.’s firmest ally in the region – and one of the closest anywhere – he has had calls with the leaders of two deeply antagonistic regimes – Russian President Vladimir Putin on January 26, and Chinese President Xi Jinping, on February 10.
Just like Americans.
