Five Palo Alto police officers are suing the city for permitting a Black Lives Matter mural, with a strong anti-police theme, to remain last summer on Hamilton Avenue in front of City Hall.
The five officers say the mural constitutes discrimination, harassment and retaliation.
In the heat of national protests over the killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis, City Council authorized the painting of the mural at a June 15, 2020 meeting. In the next two weeks, a group of activists painted the 245-foot long mural in the street.

In our local area we have folks that will do donuts in their cars leaving unsightly big black tire marks in the street. They take over areas of the street and do this for hours on end.

Never forget. The real enemy are the voters who put democrats in places for them to paint intimidating grafitti.
Palo Alto is worse than Oakland and they'll bend over and take it while on their knees.
They just have more money, higher real estate prices, and more hubris than Lucifer.

If you're a cop and you want to fight City Hall, you've got to remove turncoats and informers from your ranks before you try, or they'll frame you.
Agreed but the democrat voters make it close which allows the amount of fraud to be plausibly deniable.
At a minimum, every city official who contributed to the hostile work environment needs to be fired just as if they were in a civilian company.
I believe that is one of the main tenants of the tort.
