Hate to tinkle on Lovelace’s (his/her?) tree, but wife & I were in MGM Casino at National Harbor today and, while the crowd was very large, there were almost zero masks...
In the 4-hours we were there, not one person was overheard (by us) to be talking about “Delta Covid”...
However, since we are there most every Thursday, I’ll try to gather some better statistics over the next months just to be sure...
If you’re voluntarily wearing a mask, you are a moron. It’s as simple as that.
Oh, good grief. We’re close to herd immunity, between the shots and people who’ve already had COVID. Returning to lockdown hell is highly unnecessary, IMO.

The Delta symptoms are exactly the same as a rough cold or mild flu. I suspect many Delta cases are not being counted. Which would means more people have it and recover without incident. That would certainly skewer the fear porn that it leads to higher rates of hospitalization.
Still the idea is being pushed that you can do nothing about any variant of coronavirus until you must be admitted to the hospital. Silence on preventative measures and earlier treatments is a crime against humanity.
