This is fundamentally why we DO NOT WANT socialized health care. As soon as someone else is paying for your Healthcare, they start to feel like your Healthcare decisions are really up to them. Soon it won’t simply be *just* vaccines and experimental drug treatments. It will expand (as governments are wont to do) to diet, exercise, lifestyle choices such as smoking and drinking. Of course risky sexual behaviors will be supported, but a glass of Bourbon or a nice steak will cost you dearly.

Now, I'd say that "the power to subsidize something also gives you the power to control it."
