Overall, COVID-19 vaccination rates in Chicago are good. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, more than 70% of Cook County adults have received at least one dose of the vaccine.
But a closer look shows unequal rates depending on what neighborhood you’re in.
A recent South Side Weekly report used city data to show that Chicago’s vaccine disparity is widening between wealthier parts of the city, like the Loop, and areas on the South and West sides with a majority of Black and brown residents.
Health officials are continuing to urge the public to get vaccinated, especially as people are expected to head back indoors in the fall and winter months ahead.

The number that most determines vaccination rates is income. Rich people get vaccinated and poor people don’t.
The main reason anyone is rich is that they make good long term life choices. If they are poor they are bad at making those choices. Vaccination rates are another piece of evidence for that.
The article doesn’t say which group has a greater rate of vaccination. If the “white” rates are higher, then those unvaccinated whites need to refuse vaccination to limit “white privilege. /s
Well, according to pedo joe, it must be “too stoopidism” since he thinks certain groups are incapable of figuring out how to schedule a shot or find a means of transportation to travel to get one. Oh, and those certain groups also, apparently, can’t figure out how to contact a lawyer, get a small business loan or get on the internet. Sounds like someone is being disrespected to me.
Uh, ok, so the author never says which neighborhoods have a higher percent of jabbed vs. not jabbed. This is the second article in the past few minutes that pulled the same stunt.

Good point. Farrakhan has a big following in Chicago. Along with other black spokesmen like Sharpton are responsible for resistance to this vaccine.
Since they are untouchable this will not be mentioned by media.
should long-term negative effects surface from these experimental vaccines, the poor and PoC will be least negatively affected (for a change) ...
Maybe if they automatically jabbed everyone on the south side who gets shot and killed they can up the rates.
