Arizona’s Greatness Isn’t An Accident. We Must Protect It.

As Arizonans, there is one thing we can all agree on: Arizona is a special place of breathtaking beauty.

We are a dynamic, growing state with thriving businesses and hardworking people. We are anchored in strong communities and strong families. We love Arizona and believe it is a place worth fighting for, protecting, promoting, and investing in.

We know that people from all over the nation are relocating here for a better quality of life, and while we welcome them with open arms, we must also remind them why they came here in the first place: more freedom, more opportunity, and more growth.

Arizona didn’t become the envy of the nation by accident. Our conservative foundation has helped families to prosper and businesses to grow. But today, make no mistake, Arizona’s future is under threat. The far-left both in Phoenix and Washington, D.C. are pushing the most radical and liberal agenda of our lifetimes.

Our state needs a leader who will defend the conservative values that have made Arizona the best place to live, work and raise a family. As governor, I’ll be that leader. I’ll work every day to advance policies that make Arizona an even greater beacon of opportunity.

To keep our state growing and prospering, as governor, I will:

The stakes couldn’t be higher. In just six months, President Biden and Vice President Harris have sought to implement the largest tax increase of our generation, expand government into every facet of our lives and recklessly spend $6 trillion on a liberal wish list. What they actually have achieved is singlehandedly creating a massive crisis on our border.

And the danger in our nation’s capital is only matched by the danger posed in the Grand Canyon State. Secretary of State Katie Hobbs is the handpicked candidate of the national media who promote the cancel culture and lift up the woke class, while denigrating responsible hardworking people, starting with the men and women in blue who stop the riots and keep the peace.

Hobbs was one of the Arizona legislature’s most liberal members. She is “freakin’ proud to stand with Planned Parenthood.”

Hobbs opposed President Donald Trump’s tax cuts that helped create opportunities for Arizona families and historic lows in unemployment, including among Hispanics.

She opposed the Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) program and stands with the extreme education left that supports rewriting our nation’s history and keeping our schools closed.

Hobbs has the backing of Democrats in Washington who threaten Arizona’s sovereignty and our families’ safety by endorsing the policies of the open border left who do nothing to stem the flow of illegal people, drugs and weapons into our state.

And Hobbs endorsed the Biden/Harris/Pelosi/Schumer election takeover cynically called the “For the People Act.” It is bill number H.R. 1 and S.1 for a reason. It will institutionalize the far-left’s efforts to steal elections by eviscerating voter ID and codifying ballot harvesting.

Just a few short months ago, Arizona and our nation was fortunate to have President Donald Trump in office. Since then, our nation’s capital has been overtaken by liberal extremists, which have only emboldened the far-left here in Arizona. We can’t allow them to turn our state into California.

As the conservative candidate for governor, I’m ready to take the fight to the liberals and protect Arizona by building on our successful way of life. I humbly ask for the consideration of my fellow Arizonans.

Matt Salmon is a Republican gubernatorial candidate, and former member of the U.S. House and co-founder of the House Freedom Caucus.

AZ LE isn’t doing itself any good protecting that off shoot LDS alleged cult leader Chad Daybell in the conspiracy to commit the murder of Charles Vallow. How the Chandler PD can look at themselves in the mirror. They have the blood of not only Vallow but also his kids Tylee and JJ because they covered for the cult. Add to that, Tammy Daybell, Alex Cox (good riddance) and the attempted murder of Brandon B. and who knows how many more.

They should look at what happened to Colorado and NOT let it happen in Arizona!
