Tell me about the 38 GM gasoline cars that caught fire yesterday in the USA.

Where did you get that information? Did they catch fire from wrecks? Or just sitting in their driveways?

I read it Fox News article two years ago.

Catching fire for every reason.

Rats eating through wires. Causing a short.

Gas leaking on hot catalytic converter.

Arson. For revenge or insurance money.

Controlled for age, combustion vehicles burn at a rate 10x electric vehicles. No reason to suspect there is more arson in gasoline vehicles than electric vehicles.

I suspect most car fires are a result of fuel filters being replaced and not seal properly. Gas drips and a fire occurs.
