The dirty little secret that is just now coming out is when these battery operated cars catch fire it is impossible to extinguish the battery fire.

Couple months ago a tesla caught fire in Texas....the battery caught and the FD used 32 THOUSAND gallons of water and still had to just watch it burn itself out.

Not too good for the environment either I would think.

Right, very few fire departments have the foam that works better on those fires.

I wonder what the car insurance companies records show about these claims. If there are enough of them, insurance costs will go up for EVs.

When they burn they’re playing catchup to their ICE cousins in terms of emissions.

The emissions from just ONE of those EV fires probably equals the emissions of 10,000 gas powered automobiles for a full year of use.
