'The sheriff in Frederick County, Maryland, accused a Democratic county council member of putting one of his deputies at risk by intervening in a traffic stop involving a Black motorist.
'Frederick County Sheriff Chuck Jenkins, a Republican, put Democratic county Councilman Kai Hagen on blast Wednesday, accusing the Democrat of putting a sheriff's deputy in danger by interfering in a routine traffic stop 10 days prior.
'"The actions of Councilman Hagen were unlawful, totally inappropriate, unnecessary, and created both an officer safety issue and traffic safety issue," Jenkins wrote in an email to County Executive Jan Gardner and the council leadership. "His actions created an unnecessary risk to himself, my deputy and other motorists."'

They are trying to “Arpaio” him!!!
Hey Sheriff if you didn’t arrest him STFU.
I figured it would be Hagen before I even saw his name. With Frederick County trending blue, this guy’s gonna be like a chronic toenail fungus.
Maryland “Freak State” PING!
Look, Ma, a white savior!
I deduce that you've never lived in an HOA.
During O'Malley's reign of terror, plans were made and forcefully executed to stuff formerly conservative Washington County with Democrat activists and muslim immigrants. These days, even the Republicans running things in WC might as well be Democrats. (One exception is Neil Parrott.)
Actually I have! I was even HOA president once but I made it a point not to be one of those classic HOA bullies who are full of themselves. In my time I did convince fellow owners to approve a three year assessment for much-needed repairs that the past presidents kicked down the road.
Hagerstown yet is a whole different world.
Frederick is being overrun by limo libs from the DC teat, able to commute down 270.
It’s changed in my lifetime, a bit. I’d say by 25-30 years ago too many housing developments had popped up suddenly. All visible from 70.
They’ve been doing liberal things to the town, including tearing down the Judge Taney honors. Surprised they haven’t renamed Taneytown yet.
The Surfside tower collapse must have given you shphilkes, then. It certainly did me, having also served on an HOA board. "Just when I thought I was out of it, they pulled me back in". Cannot wait to move this year, Lord willing.
