"Carson did one of the best Reagan impersonations."

SNL's Phil Hartman also did a good one. There was the classic skit where he's leading a staff meeting with a world map on the wall, and Reagan is a master of detail. The phone rings and he jokes in Japanese with a Japanese diplomat. Then he's called out for a photo-op with a champion Girl Scout cookie seller, "Well, heh heh, little girl, I could use some of your salesmanship on Capitol Hill." Then he gives her the bum's rush and goes back into the meeting. The whole thing was a spoof on the idea that Reagan wasn't very smart and was just a figurehead.

Pres Reagan had a good sense of humor. Also Joe Piscipo's Sinatra impersonations, and with Stevie Wonder, (it would be great to see Piscipo do a remake of this gag to make woker not sees heads explode). Sinatra himself thought his impersonations were hilarious.
