...."The theory of evolution is entirely compatible with Christian faith."....

No, it's not!

You are saying God lied to you in Genesis 1. God made it perfectly clear that it was an evening and a morning for 1 day. We are even told nothing is too hard for God. By believing in evolution, you are saying Genesis is fiction, but I will believe that Jesus can rise from the grave. Peter tells us that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

He is telling us that we will have 6000 years of man on the earth and 1000 years of rest with the millennial reign of Christ on earth. Notice in 2Peter 3:1-13, he speaks of Noah's Flood and the rescue of Lot from Sodom. He is pointing to these 6 thousand year days as the time for God to judge the earth. God has been very careful to show that the Sabbath day rest is prophetic for God's rest. If there were random days consisting of millions of years, the Bible makes no sense. God even made the 7th day Sabbath the 4th Commandment. This is why the RCC changing the Sabbath makes her the Whore of Babylon. God made it perfectly clear what day was to be blessed by Him and observed by His people. If you type "Sabbath" into a software Bible program, you will end up with 7 pages of verses with a 10pt font.

God is very precise in His prophesies. Jesus died exactly on Passover @3PM when the High Priest was cutting the throat of the Lamb in the Temple. He rose exactly on First Fruits and was called the "First Fruits" of the dead. The church was born exactly on Pentecost with the giving of the Holy Spirit as the Law was given 3500 years earlier exactly on Pentecost. Judgement Day will happen exactly on Atonement 6000 years after Creation Day. The Millennial reign will begin exactly on Tabernacles after Atonement and last 1000 years.

Your disbelief is dangerous for your salvation. He will come as a thief when you aren't expecting Him. You will be left behind to suffer under the Beast.

Trying to squeeze a false belief into Scripture doesn't work. God has told everyone what He wants you to know. Think of His reaction when He clearly told you His timetable and you explain to Him that you believe men and not Him. The dinosaurs were made by Nephalim and were destroyed in the Flood. God put the animals that were not corrupted on the Ark with Noah. The Chimera's made by fallen angels in Genesis 6 were corruptions of what God had made and drowned accordingly. The corrupted DNA survived the Flood and Joshua through David was faced with Giants and chimera's. When you read that Joshua was ordered by God to "utterly destroy" men, women, children, and livestock, many Christians back up at this order. God is serious about getting rid of everything He didn't say "It was good" about in Genesis. Joshua was ordered to kill them, pile them in a pile, set them on fire, and then cover the ashes with rocks. Saul was ordered to kill all the Amalekites, but he didn't.

1Sa 15:3 Now go and attack Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and do not spare them. But kill both man and woman, infant and nursing child, ox and sheep, camel and donkey.' "

1Sa 15:8 He also took Agag king of the Amalekites alive, and utterly destroyed all the people with the edge of the sword.

1Sa 15:9 But Saul and the people spared Agag and the best of the sheep, the oxen, the fatlings, the lambs, and all that was good, and were unwilling to utterly destroy them. But everything despised and worthless, that they utterly destroyed.

The Amalekites had this Nephilim blood and knew the arts of sorcery and witchcraft to change their animals. Saul not only let them live but took them into his camp. BTW, because Saul didn't kill all the women and children we read later in the book of Ester about an evil man named Haman who was an Agagite that wanted to kill all the Jews.

The point is to read your Bible and believe. We don't have the luxury of believing one part and leaving out another. Christians will tell you they believe God can do anything, but somehow have problems believing God can't Create the world in 6 days, and then make some people believe it looks like millions of years as they find DNA that is still soft. Paul told us "thinking themselves wise they became fools". You are foolish to believe God is not able to create instantly let alone in 6 days. He made it 6 days to tell a story.

I was saved radically at 43 and immediately believed the Bible and trusted in God that He wouldn't tell me a lie. I was one that was raised with "millions of years" and dinosaurs. My mind was changed in one second when I saw my mother in law get healed instantly with Aplastic Anemia by one prayer. I trust God and every man is a liar. Trying to straddle the Bible and the world doesn't work. The moment you start mixing in what you invent in your mind with what God has told you puts you in the same predicament Saul found himself in. Many churches and Christians are trying to make up theories someone told them with the truth of God mixed in and you just get more confused (who is the author of confusion?) Make your own choices but I choose to believe God.

It most certainly is. It is entirely compatible unless one’s Christian faith is weak.

As I believe you are aware, the Bible is not a science text.

“Time was invented so that everything didn't happen at once’’.- Einstein. Think about that for a moment.
