Democrats on Thursday expressed their displeasure with the Supreme Court's final decisions of its 2020-2021 term, accusing the justices of doing "severe damage" to the political system and in some cases re-upping their calls to pack the court with liberal justices appointed by President Biden.
One decision was on a challenge to Arizona election laws, including a ban on ballot harvesting. The other was about a California law that required nonprofits to disclose their largest donors to the state government for law enforcement purposes.
The court upheld the Arizona laws – which liberals saw as voting rights restrictions and conservatives saw as election security measures – and struck down the California law on the grounds that it chilled free speech.
Biden weighed in on the Arizona decision in a statement that was remarkably critical of the Supreme Court for a sitting president.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., said the court's decision in the Arizona case is part of an "unprecedented assault on voting rights" from the court before also tearing into the court over the California case.
...
"Having to identify one’s own polling place and then travel there to vote does not exceed the ‘usual burdens of voting,'" Justice Samuel Alito wrote in his opinion upholding the Arizona laws.

Union leadership invented ballot harvesting.
I don’t get it. I never will. I’m sure I’m going to reeducation camp someday.
The liberal view seems to be, that ANY restrictions or qualifications to vote, such as having to turn in your own ballot and not have it harvested, showing an ID, needing to request a mail in ballot rather than just having the state mail them out to everyone, is somehow considered a return to “JIM CROW” laws of yesteryear.
The Court is being intimidated by the Dems with threats of packing the Court. The Court can, and should summon Pelosi and Biden on contempt citations. That would be a fun exercise in power to demonstrate they are a co-equal branch with inherent authority to preserve their jurisdiction without political coercion. If the Dems want to pack the Court, they should do it, instead of threatening the Court for each ruling they don’t like.
“If the Dems want to pack the Court, they should do it”
And then SCOTUS should strike down any attempt to manipulate the size of the court for political purposes as a violation of the constitution’s “necessary and Proper” clause.
It is likely necessary to fix the number of SCOTUS justices at a constitutional number, with an amendment. Assuming the next election is more honest, resulting in a Republican sweep, might be the best and only time for that amendment, and a balanced budget amendment.
I’d do much more than issue citations to frauds like Xiden and Pelousy. Sadly with both of them closer to their natural endings with each passing day, appropriate justice for their crimes against America may never be delivered.
Accusing the justices of doing “severe damage” to the political system.
Like they have any room to talk Rigging Inc. still blaming others for what they do.
Damn demonrats are using threats of court packing to sway SCOTUS decisions. I believe this is against the law. Interference with court decisions is ALWAYS AGAINST the law.
Th Ec regime usurping DC is LAWLESS and needs to go bye bye.
