Our government did the same thing pre WW II. They didn’t try to stop Hitler as he was only going to hurt and take over just a few countries. Prior to our entry into World War II, Germany sought to defeat its opponents in a series of short campaigns in Europe. Germany quickly overran much of Europe and was victorious for more than two years. And we all know what happened there...Millions were killed and dominated while we tried to use diplomacy.

Hitler ordered his troops to turn back when they marched into the Rhineland in 1936, if the French so much fired a shot.
The French never did, Hitler knew from that point on, they wouldn’t lift a finger to stop him from rearming. By the time they finally did something, he already got Austria, Czechoslovakia and Poland.
AOC says it is important “that we look at these numbers in context.” What is the context for murdering a six year old and a nine year old? Were those deaths just collateral damage in the march to a more equitable society?
