There is an important difference. When we pulled out of Vietnam our soldiers came home. Where do the Israelis go if the Arabs ‘outlast’ Israel’s leftists?

Yeah, but by the time this laser system is operational in 2024, Trump will be back in office as President. Perfect timing. Biden will be gone, and Israel will have its loyal ally Trump once again holding the reins of power. Hope Bibi is back in office by then too.

Otherwise, Israel will be stuck with its own liberal leader, Lapid in 2024. What a horror that will be and Trump will be stuck having to deal with him. A new laser system in Israel with a liberal head of gov’t that probably wouldn’t want to use it. The worm ever turns. Israel better pray that Bibi gets back in office or Israel will be screwed.
