Remove all the car accidents, heart attacks, murders, etc. blamed on covid, and it’s the same percentage.
511,000 more deaths in 2020 than 2019. Assume that 250k were entirely COVID-free, caused by shutting down hospitals, extra stress, etc. Then assume 1/3 of Americans were exposed in 2020 which is probably high. That's still 0.2% mortality. Even if many of those deaths were heart attacks, the COVID could have easily moved up the date of the heart attack due to the clots that it causes.
