Kentucky GOP Sen. Rand Paul is telling Twitter followers to not let the 'fearmongers' win, amid growing concerns about the newest delta variant of the coronavirus.
Paul, who is a doctor with a degree in medicine from Duke University, cited a study of the strain that shows only a 0.08% death rate among unvaccinated people.
"Don’t let the fearmongers win. New public England study of delta variant shows 44 deaths out of 53,822 (.08%) in unvaccinated group. Hmmm," he tweeted Tuesday to his 3.2 million followers.
The variant, which has caused virus outbreaks in Australia and other countries, has resulted in officials reimposing recently lifted health-safety orders including mask-wearing.

Seems a lot less deadly than old-school Covid, if you believe the numbers that have been coming out.

I find the politicization of this pandemic frightening. Any trust I had in governmental departments is lost. When medicine is politicized how can we trust anything we are told?
The CDC was necessary during the cold war to warn the US of a biological attack. (This is why all deaths must be reported.) But when the CDC is recommending things that people like the inventor of mRNA says is not safe, what agenda are they following? We, the People, are on our own.
I listened to the inventor of the mRNA technology on the podcast Dark Horse. According to him, and I’m taking license here, but I’ll link to the podcast. We don’t know that the vaccine is safe. We don’t know for certain that it is unsafe. But we are vaccinating millions of people with little regard to the bad reactions, some of which would have resulted in another drug being withdrawn. The data simply isn’t there to justify the level of risk our society is taking.

My take from following the podcast is that the vaccines are teaching our immune system to recognize only the variant the vaccine was made for. When a new variant comes along, it triggers the immune system to manufacture a virus attack vector that is inappropriate. But having learned what to do, the immune system exhausts itself making the wrong thing to fight the new virus variant. Thus, the vaccine protects initially, but cause harm later.
If that’s the case, we’ll see a lot of people desperately trying to justify the position they took earlier by discrediting any opposing theory. They’ll do this until everyone vaccinated dies.

DarkHorse Podcast is one of the most informative podcasts I’ve come across. Both Bret Weinstein and his wife Heather are true scientists. They ask questions, they observe, they hypothesize. No theatrics. No panic porn. Solid.
Are the 44 deaths out of 53,822 only for those diagnosed with Covid Delta?
Because the pattern has been so far that about half of the people who catch Covid never even go to see a doctor.
Aside from the rampant politics, I knew early on that COVID was destined to become an industry. And as with any industry, those making money from it want it to go on and on and on.
Speaking of skiing, what is the death rate for car wrecks?
Also, what is the death rate of the vaccinated?
