I can't stand what the Dims do with their energy policies, including their so-called "green energy" which turns out to be green only for their cronies we're forced to buy from. But if you live in the south (i.e. plenty of sun) and own your own home, you might want to do the homework on your own power consumption habits and customize a solar system like I did.
I don't worry about the politicians forcing a one-size-fits-all type electrical grid like they did in California or Texas (where the electrical suppliers are expected to do green energy while keeping up with variations in consumer demand). I also don't worry about the fact that natural gas is now selling on the commodities market for twice what it did last year.
I agree. My parents got solar panels put on their garage roof a few years ago. They say it’s the best investment they ever made. It was worth it to be free from SDGE’s tyranny.
