Geneva (AP) —Swiss government agency has announced a proposal to purchase 30 advanced fighters from US manufacturer Lockheed Martin. It defeated three rivals to sign more than CHF 15.5 billion ($ 16.75 billion) in 30 years.

The spare parts come from a number of different countries. Some of the computer circuit boards used in the F 35 are made by a company owned by the Chinese !! chinese-owned-company-produces-parts for F 35

Ahhh yes, that’s a European Consortium fighter Jet. I remember the Typhoon had its combat debut during the 2011 military intervention in Libya. Other than that, I don’t think I’ve seen it in combat anywhere else.
