Mr. Johnson is retired. So is Bill Gates. Santa Monica police chief too-the one that said windows can be replaced but lives cannot. Stood by while rioters broke the windows. What do they all have in common? They’re now on the sidelines-outside looking in. The police chief may have a sense of discretion as her attitudes effect other cops. Johnson/Gates? Following their true calling. They wouldn’t say those things if they could end up like the police chief but all 3 were set up for life afterwards.
Every other billionaire will stick his nose out and in whenever it doesn’t cost them. Cuban-swings both ways. Others do it and don’t pay-lucky. Kapernick already has his money. I could go on. They’re not like those of us who have mortgages.
