TOKYO — North Korean ruler Kim Jong Un has chastised ruling party officials for failures in their anti-virus work that created what he called a “grave incident” that caused a “huge crisis” in the country’s battle against covid-19, state media reported Wednesday....
...State media did not specify what had happened.
“By neglecting important decisions of the party in its national emergency antivirus fight in preparations for a global health crisis, officials in charge have caused a grave incident that poses a huge crisis to the safety of the nation and its people,” the Korea Central News Agency quoted Kim as saying.
Kim had called a meeting of the Politburo of the ruling Workers’ Party on Tuesday...Several Politburo members, secretaries of the central committee, and officials of several state agencies were replaced at the meeting, KCNA reported....

I can imagine in a society of deprivation that they’ve lost a fair number of people.
A “grave incident.”
Did they bury Kim? Did his sister bump him off?
I think fat little rocketman got the bug. He’s pulled through, but decidedly on the wan side and is not happy. I suspect multiple executions in the future after he decides who to blame.
Well, many of us suspected, early on, that the people of NK weren’t faring well, during the china virus. Didn’t they continuously report no/low deaths?
Interesting way to word it, Kim.
As in...the beatings will continue until moral, and survival rates, improve.
:-(
Those who were given the responsibility of not allowing him to get the virus are already dead. Of covid of course.

Good Times!
Those in charge of sacking the people who have just been sacked, have been sacked.
I’m not sure if ‘sacked’ is the right terminology
‘wacked’ might be a closer meaning to ‘replaced’?
Well, yes “sacked” in NoKo has a different meaning.
North Korea never had more than one person who had covid.
I saw the tallies for myself. 1. 0. 1. 0. 1. 0...
If by some chance, Kim does have COVID, can you imagine being the doctor who has to tell him his diagnosis?
The Scientist choses his Doctor to do it.
The Doctor choses his Nurse Practitioner to tell Kim.
The Nurse Practioner choses the Registered Nurse,
The Registered Nurse choses her most Senior Intern
The Most Senior Intern choses his newest Intern
The Newest Intern choses her last Boyfriend;
A recycled Formaldahyde Buyer from South Korea.
I know someone who sacked a bunch of kittens in the river.
😂
Malnutrition is a top cause of immunodeficiency worldwide, so it would seem that DPRK would be an easy target for SARS2.
Of course, this might be an excuse to execute a bunch of people, and has nothing to do with SARS2.
Define "replaced"...
Problem with Tyrants - people are afraid to tell them the truth!
When Stalin got the stroke, everybody was afraid to touch him. They called meetings and debated what to do. When they finally started treatments, it was too late!
If Stalin was not so paranoid, he could maybe be cured and lived for some more time.
I think little rocketman is concerned about his own Grave Incident.
#16. In No. Korea, the word “replaced” actually means “erased”. The same for “sacked”. If you are “sacked”, you are “whacked” and then put in a “sack” for use as fertilizer.
The Communists of NK are the world’s best “human remains recyclers”.
Maybe Fauchi can go help?
