Well, I’m sure this will be heralded as a giant step forward for the “LGBT etc” peoples. The “T” in “LGBT” has become prominent in recent years. I suspect if a biological “lesbian” female won a beauty pageant, it might not even register, because “gay” has become so mainstreamed. But a “trans gender” winner, has got to be a major milestone.

He/she/it is the Jackie Robinson of beauty pageants, in that he/she/it is a racial minority as well. It’s a doubleheader sweep, to use a sports metaphor.

Poor Jackie Robinson is probably spinning in his grave to be equated to this $#*+. Not only did he have to endure a lot of flak to break the color barrier in 1947, but he had to be an outstanding performer on the field and off.

He didn't get into the Hall of Fame because he broke the color barrier, but because he earned it.

Earning your way in is a concept totally foreign to today's snowflake generation.

Today, you can take a subpar quarterback like Colin Kapernick who couldn't hold a third string QB job and make him an instant celebrity because he has the "right" politics.
