How does White Plains draw up a list of potential jurors? Do they take it from the voter rolls, property tax payers or what? Each would make up a different scope of people.
Or was it simply minorities ignore their summons and are smarter than whites at getting out of serving?
After reading it I’m not sure I do either..lol. I hate cell phones. Ok, let me try again. The article states

The fact there was a shooting means there was a victim. If I were the victim I would file a civil lawsuit against the Judge personally and the state for mental distress and anything else I could possibly get a civil jury to convict on. I would think they would have standing because this is a federal court and they were physically injured by a criminal. It would meet jurisdiction requirements because it is a federal court.
Most states also have victim rights laws now, and there are probably federal USC codes regarding a victim’s rights.
It would have to be a civil law suit. With a much lower bar. Hope that makes sense. I’m not a lawyer, and we have a corrupt “justice” system, especially in that part of the country. But if I were a lawyer I would approach the shooting victim (article doesn’t clearly state their was a victim, but I don’t think it would make it to the news if there wasn’t a victim), and tell them they suffered trauma because the person who shot them was cut loose based on racial discrimination. Sue the pants off of the state and judge if they aren’t immune to lawsuits. And try to get the judge disbarred for violating the Civil Rights act by discriminating based on the color of a person’s skin.
But, in that district I doubt they would get any justice at all. But if someone wanted to run it up to the appeals courts they may get a good ruling. Trump and the Turtle did a pretty good job of cleaning up the judiciary. So there is a long shot.

Why hasn’t she stepped down in lieu of an Asian judge? White Plains deserves the Asian community needs to be equally served.
Should have had a grand jury from the same Division of the District Court where the alleged crime was committed.
Don’t agree the Judge’s other reasons for the dismissal of the indictment; just that the above reason is sufficient for a due process violation.
Do not assume the Prosecutor had an innocent motive in getting a grand jury from a different Division.
Never trust a Prosecutor to do the right thing.

Then they need to recall and do a retrial of O.J. Simpson, and that Minn. officer that was tried for a murder that he didn’t commit (actually, I believe it was 3 murders of the same person, which makes no sense).
