I remember, years ago, large city police saying that if they could arrest and hold 100 persons in their community, they could stop over 90% of the crime.

Probably more like 1000 persons now.

A former co-worker of mine from Indonesia said on slow nights, the police would go over files to identify these people. A few days later, they would turn up dead in a street fight, a drug overdose or some other mysterous ailment.

An investigation would be conducted. But it would always prove inconclusive. The perps had two ways to get off the list-- (1)lay low for awhile or (2)move away. There was a third way, but I already mentioned it.

I dunno, big cities are al out exclusively li eral despite high crimes constantly. Smaller cities might, albeit, perhaps, try at first to do something about rising crime, but they too will keep right on voting liberal. Liberals just aren’t rational.
