I sooth my soul by doing nothing. My favorite pastime is sitting on my patio with an unobstructed view of the Sierras. Makes me forget all the happy horsechit going on in the world.
I don’t have the Sierras for a view, but I do love doing Nothing here at my little slice of Heaven. All the woods and creek make for good evening listening and doing other sorts of Nothing, like watching the stars twinkle, and watching fireflies dance around like fairies. Hearing the frogs creak and nighttime animals rustling about. Doing Nothing is renewing.
