Yes, it looks like that’s the overall and underlying idea, that women can’t compete in anything right now. So the implication is “who needs women?” It would be one thing if he competed and lost.But NO , he had to WIN. I suppose not winning or coming in second or third would be considered an insult and would unleash bitter protest. In athletics, the transgenders are expected to win, and do win, but “beauty contests” which have totally different , uh, requirements, so to speak, on e wonders why they would even ENTER in the first place. This may just be the first shark they’ve jumped....the mind boggles thinking of how many more are out there.
