A South Carolina attorney has been suspended from practicing law after making incendiary Facebook posts, including one about George Floyd’s murder, sparked complaints.
Lawyer David Paul Traywick was handed a six-month suspension and ordered to take a diversity class earlier this month by the state Supreme Court, The State newspaper reported.
The attorney will also have to undergo an anger management assessment with a licensed therapist before his license is reinstated, the outlet reported.

That[what you are referring to] Officially happened January 20 ,2021. When they Democrat Party with the cooperation of the Republican Party violated the very laws they themselves agreed to adhere to and installed the biggest liar and Thief known to man along with the biggest whore ever known as president and vice president of the United States of America over the Legitimately elected President , Donald J Trump. Thus rendering the Constitution Null and Void. But the sheep fought back valiantly. They immediately stuck their heads up their asses where it remains today. Pretended nothing out of the ordinary happened. Accepted the Thief and the Whore to rule over them. And went about their daily business as if nothing out the ordinary happened. And last but not least, they further deluded themselves into believing that they win the Elections to be held[should the Democrats allow them] to be held in 2022 and 2024.
It's hard to figure. If you're an attorney and outspoken on social media, then you're going to get challenges like this.
It's a slam-dunk for 1A, and you get to drag the Supreme Court of your state through the mud. He just wasn't up for it. A suspension in a law practice essentially puts you in receivership.
Here is the SC Supreme Court's initial Order of Interim Suspension with appointment of another counsel to handle his practice's affairs for "a period of no longer than nine months unless an extension of the period of appointment is requested.".
That's a hard row to hoe unless you have prepared wi$ely...

We find these two comments warrant a six-month suspension. These comments are not expressive; they are expressly incendiary. Both are statements by a lawyer on his social media account identifying him as such and listing the name of his law firm....
Accordingly, we accept the Agreement and suspend Respondent from the practice of law in this state for six months. The suspension is retroactive to Respondent’s interim suspension on June 12, 2020.”

It seems he’s a bad lawyer with even worse representation.
Be that as it may, the fact that this kind of disciplinary case can be brought against a lawyer who was not speaking about a case that was taking place in SC’s jurisdiction much less a case that he was directly or indirectly involved with in any capacity, underscores how depraved the system has become.
The prohibition of criticism of the state’s case against the accused is one of the bedrock reasons we revolted against the Kind.
