Russia has successfully tested a new intercontinental ballistic missile at the Plesetsk cosmodrome in the country's northwest, the TASS news agency reported, citing a source in the defence industry.
The launch took place in mid-June, the source said.

As we reported, the Russian military deployed Bastion, the anti-ship missile launcher in the annexed Crimea. The weapon belongs to the composition of the Black Sea Fleet; it was deployed during the military drill on the peninsula. Russia's Defense Ministry reported that on January 28.
After the weapon's arrival to the designated area, crews deployed the Bastion, making it ready for combat use.
Next, the weapon will be involved in the joint exercise with a Black Sea Fleet's frigate.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that the introduction of sanctions increased the risks of unilateral use of military force. According to him, the world's biggest players must "join their forces in fateful areas" during difficult moments. Putin made this statement at a forum in Davos.
He also criticized the use of trade barriers, sanctions, and other restrictions in "attempts to blame other countries for internal problems".
"Such games with no rules critically increase the risks of unilateral use of military force. That is the danger," the president said.

If Putin has a sense of humor, he’ll name it “The Killer.”
Lousy article and headline. Makes you think that Russia is arming a Black Sea based frigate with an ICBM. I think the headline and the first paragraph are about an ICBM test but then it shifts abruptly to a land-based anti-ship missile.
Our ICBMs are 40 years old
