The TSA rules also extend to transit. It’s not just airplane rides that fall under this requirement, train rides are affected, too.
I agree. I was in LHR a couple days ago, and every other chair in the gate areas was covered with cardboard to keep them empty. Ridicukous, considering the same people would shortly be sitting shoulder-to-shoulder on the plane anyway...
More places than that.
Some people just feel some level of comfort to continue wearing them.
Personally, I detest the training burkas.
Why are we doing it at healthcare providers?
The same healthcare providers that allow people to cram together like sardines in elevators in use at their facilities...
Up here in Alberta, the Province is dropping the required use of ‘facial diapers’ (aka: masks) on July 1. Calgary has however, extended the city bylaw to ‘face diaper up’ until at least July 5. The still have a week to decide to extend it, yet again. I use public transit and AFAIK, I will STILL be required to ‘face diaper up’, with no end in sight to this ludicrous rule. Perhaps the name of the city should be changed to ‘Nenshigrad’, to ‘honour’ the mayor.
In MA, there is still the 'mandate' to wear masks in hospitals, dr. offices, and healthcare-deemed clinics, like physical therapy.
What is the mask situation in the sane states?
Not enough, eyes still open.
I live in NYS so I can’t answer that.
I can tell you what it says on the backs of the boxes of masks we buy: NOT FOR USE IN HEALTHCARE SETTINGS.
Even in South Dakota in the Medical Clinics, there is a mask requirement.
However not in my Dentist office.
Also for 99% of businesses here, there is no mask requirement.
Although you still see a few lemmings that wear the face diaper.
I’m noticing a LOT of Asians wearing masks.
When I see someone still wearing a mask when they’re alone or not required, I see a timid sheep. I see someone that’s unaware of the actual intention of the behavior modification that goes with the mask. They don’t know history beyond 9/11, if that.
I work in a gas station as a side gig as a cashier in Texas where no masks are required. 95% of black people wear masks, about 74% of Asians do and maybe 10% of white people. Just my observation.
These aren't masks.
They're muzzles.
...we also live in Central Texas....for whatever reason(s) there are still a lot of blacks wearing masks, and many Latinos, Asians and Indians (the India-kind, not native Americans.....).... I dunno.....
It’s up to the individual hospitals and clinics in Texas. Most hospitals still require it. Most rural clinics dont, large city clinics mostly do, but that is slowly going away.
Easier to walk into and rob a convenience store.
My eye doctor said the same thing ... all health care facilities in Pennsylvania.
