I have a strong feeling that the U.S. is going to have a record low medal count this time around. Festering resentment is a major distracter and energy sapper, and athletes need every microgram of energy and focus to gain the edge they need, not a chip on their shoulder to weigh them down.
I never thought I’d say it, but it wouldn’t disappointment me in the least if the U.S. ended up empty handed. We deserve it, and the world is already laughing at us.
Back in 1968 it was just the Black Power issue, this time around it’s Black Lives Matter, LGBTQ issues, and other SJW issues thrown in that all type of athletes from Western Countries that will be protesting....so I don’t think the protests will be limited to US athletes....
If the judges are in the bag for transgenders, we’ll win every gold in which they participate in women’s events. They aren’t good enough to get near a medal in men’s sports, so they cheat and pretend to be women, to win the gold, hollow, meaningless “victories”, that cheat genuine women out of wins. Where are all the women’s libbers?
