It's surprising that I survived. I was a punk hippie back then. I'd give hitchhikers a ride, and they would give me marijuana joints and baggies as a gift. Lots of free rock band concerts, and wine bottles were passed around. I was stoned half the time, which upset my parents who were straight, and especially my dad who was a military officer. At the concerts in the park, I recall wandering around with friends and seeing topless women, some playing around with men. Decadent stuff. Also, some friends had guns and handed them to me to check out, could have accidentally shot myself because of being stoned.
Then I met my girlfriend, straight and Republican, and she straightened me out from the reckless stuff. We got married a few years later, been together a great 51 years. Lucky me!

California needs to accelerate its drive to eliminate fossil fuels and nuclear energy from the California grid. Then California will be flooded with all the wind and solar electricity that they can use And household electric bills will drop below $10,ooo a month.
I did not much care for Florida in my youth and still do not like the climate here. But economically and politically, I have come to like Florida a lot.
If Donald Trump were not responsible for all those forest fires the electricity crisis would come a few years later.
