Ooooooo-weeeeeee, you better look out! Some rescue experts on this forum will likely castigate you for daring to suggest that the Miami-Dade po-po and fire department are politicized in this activity.
But considering what we went through during the past 15 months thanks to Big Government and Big Pharma, I would be remiss in not considering that possibility right alongside you.
However, there apparently is a slow-burning underground fire in the building rubble that is hindering rescue efforts as well.
I’m moving to Florida. I would rather he not run in 2024 as well. He’ll be great for FL until 2026, when term limits will kick him out.
I’m not sure Trump had gravitas, either, but he won one election and may have won his second if the vote had been completely honest.
“The Surfside condo collapse may have some impact on DeSantis’ chances in 2024.”
That’s nuts. Stiffen up that spine of yours.
“I’m not sure Trump had gravitas, either, but he won one election and may have won his second if the vote had been completely honest.”
He will win the third election, with DeSantis hopefully as his VP.
For a condo built in 1981? How, exactly?
DeSantis for President 2024.
Name the prospective Republican candidates for President in 2024 that do, according to you, have wide appeal.
So far, Trump.
Why do you say that?
Disregard my last. Meant that for comment #12.
Why do you believe that?
That’s true, but he was a nobody until Trump endorsed him.
Amen to that! He has been the best governor we’ve had.
I like what I see. I would want him to get even more aggressive instituting conservative polices as he has wide latitude to actually do this in FL. I’m tired of being fooled by window dressing.
July bump to the top
A governor can’t sign bills until the legislature passes them.
Why does that matter? Plenty of people get endorsed and lose, or do nothing after they win. DeSantis is both the youngest and the best governor in the country. That's all him.
Honest question?
Why would it? he didn’t blow the building up, he didn’t sign off on the changes to the building codes/inspections.
He hasn’t done anything to slow or hinder the recovery of the bodies.
He has been an effective leader/manager for the state.
If the majority of people in Florida hold him responsible for that tragic event, the the folks in that state are dumber than dirt.
