That’s jacked up. Your ex is crap for doing that. In the divorce you get the exemption and he uses it anyways. Knowing how much you make. You could have had him jailed over that. But would have had to pay a lawyer and go to court over it,

That was 41 years ago. He remarried, and the man who once described himself as an agnostic, became a Jehovah Witness, and stopped any contact he had with his two sons. It's been 20+ years since they last heard anything from him. They are the only kids he ever had. In a way it was a lot easier without him being involved in their lives, because he was such an asshole. I never married again after my divorce in '79, and have had a wonderful life as a single Mom with two great kids. I never would have been able to accomplish all the things I've been able to, if I'd stayed with the moron. I've always said, it's better to live alone and be happy, than live with someone and be totally miserable.
