Republican votes are trashed during the first run through!
As an elected Precinct Committee Officer, I walk my precinct getting voter preference information. If they are a strong Republican, I enter a number 5 in my smart phone which compiles these numbers as I enter them. I am sure the Dems get a hold of that database with the latest voter preference updates. It would be easy for a sorter to read the signatures and put the Republican names in the trash basket. They have a machine that looks at those signature and compares them to the signature received when the voter registered. Some of those signatures don’t match and you have to take those ballots to the voter in what is called “ballot recovery.” We only take the ballots to Republican voters on the list for the “recovery.”
