I’d prefer 100x the 37 AC-130Js promised, at 1% of the cost per. The quick specs I found on the Ghost Rider didn’t specify a turning radius. As usual, the W-pedo entry is laughable. Spookies were still active in South America as of 2010 June.
Of course, more modern aircraft have lovely defensive systems, meaning slower loss of pilots/crew/planes. And AA capabilities make that necessary. So yeah, you are correct.
