They carefully neglected the fact that the governor of Louisiana, a Democrat, refused the NG. Same with FEMA. She initially refused FEMA until the situation was a crisis. Remember all of those school buses under water? The mayor of New Orleans failed to evacuate his citizens. Then the media did (and still does) blame Bush.
