Agree with both of you. What should happen now, is Gov. Parson should pardon even this misdemeanor to repudiate this Soro-ite St. Louis DA. MO folks should contact him about this.

Defending your house from a known-violent mob using firearms is about as American as it gets. Even this misdemeanor plea deal is a travesty of justice.

I agree, a complete travesty of justice. I don’t know exactly how the MO constitution enumerates the Executive’s pardon power. There’s a chance the governor cannot pardon someone who hasn’t been convicted of anything as the US president can do.

BUT, if he does in fact enjoy a pardon power that is effectively identical to the President’s, then there’s no excuse that he didn’t pardon them months ago.
