UN draft climate report: Impacts on nature

Paris (AFP) - Climate change threats to life on Earth are systemic, interconnected and on a scale unprecedented in human history, the UN's climate science advisors have warned in a draft report seen exclusively by AFP.

Here are some of the report's findings on impacts on nature:

The report warns that after previous drastic climate shocks like the one currently facing the planet, the recovery of ecosystems, food webs and biodiversity took millions of years and involved the emergence of entirely new species.

The outlook for the world's living creatures is looking perilous, the report makes clear.

A dangerous mix of higher temperatures, dry conditions and drought means that wildfire seasons across the planet are longer and potentially burnable areas have doubled in size.

The last time oceans saw the levels of acidification and depleted oxygen projected for 2100 under a high emissions scenario was some 56 million years ago.

“Paris (AFP) - Climate change threats to life on Earth are systemic, interconnected and on a scale unprecedented in human history, the UN’s climate science advisors have warned in a draft report seen exclusively by AFP.”

Fair enough. Now what’s the plan to fix it? What’s the risk mitigation plan if the plan fails? How much will the fix cost? Who will pay for the fix? And, who gets the money?

If those answers aren’t in the report, the report is useless.

“Systemic “ is the new buzz word. Anything that is systemic can only be fixed by large sums of unaccountable money and loss of freedom and constitutional rights. Capitalism is always the cause of the problem.

the only concrete “impact” of climate change that can be measured is the swelling of bank accounts the world over..../s

The only International agency which 'feels qualified' to collect monies for the fix,
is the same corrupt organization which has NEVER undergone an independent audit to locate, or fix, their own corruption.
Follow the money !

I call BS.

Maybe if you substitute “Climate Change” with “Marxism”.

They are really pulling out all the stops. Lots of fiction in the report.. Looks like the UN has decided that it’s Now or never for their scam to bear fruit.

So let me get this straight...

In human history we have never seen ocean acidification like the ocean acidification projected in 2100? We ain’t seen it in 2100 either. Such naked lies.
