Generally, Senators are awful presidents. They do not get executive leadership skills in the Senate where they can hide out as one of a hundred. Strong executive leadership background is what you want - governors and CEOs.
I agree with you on Cruz for SCOTUS.
Thanks, Julie. No presumption at all. It was a great Father’s Day weekend — first we had brunch on Treasure Island with our eldest daughter and her boyfriend; then we had the BBQ with our son and all of his friends; then we wound it up with our son taking us out to breakfast at my favorite coffee shop with a delightful courtyard patio. Of course, I finished it up with the normal household repairs and maintenance!
I hope yours was great as well.
unfortunately, true
Often reminds me of a cat chasing its own tail, these threads do...

Ever see a cat catch his tail? Lot of round and round mostly
with failure. But can make for some fun threads sometimes.
Have a nice day.
You’re right.
These are the spoiled brats of white liberal ‘elites’...
Dora the Explorer will probably reward them with gift cards like the mayor’s office in NYC does for the BLM-Antifa trash.
Turn the sprinkler system on. Leave it on.
When the ground is soaked, plug an extension cord into the outlet, the other end into the lawn.
West Texas is one of the few GOOD places to have windmills. 99.9% the west plains of Texas generate consistent wind power. Take your Cruzebot insults to DU.
“west plains of Texas generate consistent wind power”
Except during snowmaggedon.
;-)
Listen here Mariner,
Are you aware that is is NOT illegal for congress critters to engage in insider trading?
They do so all the time.
They get word a multi billion dollar military contract will get announced tomorrow and today purchase all they can of said company prior to its stock price to jump.
Couple years ago there was a bill introduced to stop this but it failed.
You probably haven’t seen my follow-up posts yet stating the sarcasm was a dig at the author of the article.

I’d say she does have a job. Not sure she still works there, this was the first hit of my search.
What the heck does the value of his house have to do with this story about criminals trespassing on his property?
First, Goldman Sachs, as a company, is a huge supporter of the communist party.
Second, Heidi's job would mean nothing but she somehow managed to get Goldman Sachs to loan money to the Cruz campaign....loans that were hidden by Ted Cruz illegally.
Ted Cruz is no friend of conservatism. He is another poser like Bush.
Thanks for the information. I didn’t like him in the primary.
Well, my home has about tripled its value in less than 5 years. It's now about a mil in value, and I'm retired on a fixed income.
That should clear it up for you, but I do suspect that you knew the about the housing cost inflation dynamic already.
